ohhhh lazy weekends.
Finally the weekends are here! :) I'm just looking forward to resting up and slacking. Cos it has been a really really tiring week. On Tuesday, had tuition as per normal. Ended quite early. Was supposed to meet the grrlfrens but it was postponed. Since it was postponed, i planned to go running that evening. But ri's parents asked me whether i wanted to go jb with them. Since my parents said ok, i joined them for dinner there. On the way home in the car, we watch Stephen Chow's movie. Haha! Very funny. On Wednesday, i had to do the housework. After that went out to meet the band. Faith, Rox and Yas. Nice people though we're each pretty different. Faith went home earlier cos she had to teach tuition. And Rox, Yas and I went to coffee bean at fullerton to just slack awayyy. Lol. Yas was very funny & blur. I guess that's Yas being Yas. Haha! On Thursday, had to wake up really early in the morning. Had to follow mum somewhere for something important. I really didnt want to follow cos i felt that if i went there it would be of no use. I'd just waste my time. I was really in a bad bad bad mood then. Cos when i told mum that, she started throwing tantrums already. So i gave in and showered and went. The night before, i couldn't sleep. Cos i wasn't feeling good and all. All tired. And on Wednesday night, i plegde to keep myself OFF FAST FOOD. No more fast food for me. I'll try. :) Thursday's a LONG DAY really. After accompanying mum, met Kavs for awhile to get guitar. And then went home to get some rest. Went out for tuition after that and by the end of the day, i was SHAGGED. Dear picked me up from boon lay and he stayed for awhile at home to help me with the guitar and pedals. Lol. The pedals were coool. Think i wanna invest in them soon after getting my own electric guitar. Friday was tiring as well. But it was fun i guess. After tuition, met ri and off we went to Bugis. He had to do some stuffs there while i had to meet the girls and jam. Emma was late for an hour. But she's kinda hardcore. Haha! We got the top room at beats. The room wasn't so bad. Though the feedback from the amp was pretty bad. Everytime Yas moved, there was the feedback. Terrible. Played 3 songs. Though i think we only nailed 1. Haha! Well, it was our first time jamming after all. :) I kinda screwed up oh star cos i was stumbling over the plucking. YIKES! After jam, met ri and then off i go home. Cos apparently i have tuition early the next morning. And today! Woke up early and went to teach and then went home to SLEEP. Pay back all the sleeping debts. :) So now... I'm slacking awayyyy. Doing nothing much. Ahh.. SO appreciating the weekends. Sorry about the post. My entries getting pretty dry these days. lol. I wanna meet my grrlfrens next week! Tuesday evening okay girls! DINNER! :) So ok. I'm off! Have a good week ahead people! :) Till thensssss. 11:26 PM

passed!
Heyyyyyyyy allll!It's been awhile now. Haven't had mood to update. Besides, nothing much has happened. Lol. Today i went for my basic theory test with Ri. And..... we passed! Was so nerve wrecking! I finished quite fast and well, thank god i passed. Was sitting two rows away from Ri and so it was quite scary. But it was a-okay! haha. :) So now... we have to arrange for our final theory. So lately i've been up to nothing much. Still teaching tuition as per normal. Lol. Sometimes, it's unbearable. But i always tell myself to persevere through it. Been meeting ri as and when possible. Lol. A few weeks ago went out with him to get our camera. Cos apparently both of us don't have a good one. haha! Went around and settled for a nikon p50 which is good enough for us. I think it's way good for us actually. Haha! After getting a good deal for the camera, we decided to "celebrate" it. And we went to swensens at funan to have our dinner. Haha! Seriously, we ate A LOT. I had baked rice, ri had chicken meuniere (or whatever it's spelled as), we had salad, plus us fries and also our dessert. I was super full by the end of the meal that i pleaded to Ri to walk to the further 190 bus stop just to let the food settle. lol. It was great day out with dear. :) we snapped away with our new cam. Prouded of it man! lol.  i guess he was too hungry. haha!  we couldn't finish the salad. seriously, it's a lot.  love you dear! :)   This is a must try. REALLY REALLY NICE!!!  Ri's cat tumpang gave birth to 6 kittens! so adorable. Ohh... Besides going out only with ri, i met with the AJC peeps and also the S19 girls. Didn't take pics for both meet-ups. Terrible. Lol. I always have fun with these girls. :) Will meet my grrlfrens soon! Can't wait! Haven't been contacting them much lately. Sorry girls. :S I miss you all! :) Having to blog and upload pics is sometimes a pain in the ass. Rawr. It gets you feeling tired and halfway through you forget about what you intended to write. busy with our own stuffs.
Hello people! :)Haven't had the mood to really update the blog. A lot has happened lately... Well, mainly the A level results and also the confusion over the choice of university courses to go to. Well, I did so-so for my A levels. Not great really. Had my share of tears already. So now it's time to move on and hopefully, i get into a course. I'm thinking that at the end of the day, i have a strong feeling that i will channel myself into teaching. Should i go for the teaching scholarship too? Hmm. I saw the question. But i don't know how to go about writing it. Maybe i should consider going for it? Hmm.. Maybe. This week's tuition is quite manageable. Most of the tuition slots are in the early afternoon as they're having their school holidays. Teaching is not easy really. At times you have to be very very patient and tell yourself not to blow your top in front of the tutees. And when they start to do silly silly mistakes, and still do after i've reminded them, I tend to raise my voice a little. Otherwise, my tutees are not so bad. Well, some of them are really really weak and the only way to help them get better grades comes down to them helping themselves. Some of them are real sweet and nice though. I hope they do well in their studies. If they fail, i'd sometimes feel as if i failed too. Failed to teach them well. I guess that's one of the worries of being a teacher. But i know that teaching is pleasurable too. :) What i've been feeling lately, i don't know. But i hope i get used to how things are. Everyone has their own work to do. And you can't get angry at someone for being busy with their own important things. I've been keeping myself busy too. Sometimes read, or sleep(haha!) or help mum with housework or tend to the cats... many things. When i feel busy, it doesn't seem so bad. It's no one's fault really. So i don't blame anyone for it. And no one has to feel bad about being busy cos each person has their own responsibilities to carry out. Getting used to this takes time. But i hope it doesn't get to the point where we become too busy with our own stuffs that we end up not knowing what to talk to each other about. That wouldn't be nice. That's a sign that we've drifted apart. I'm talking generally here really. Like it can happen to parent & child, friends and etc. So okay, i'm off to busy myself with survivor on tv and sleep. Maybe i should get myself some sudoku books to busy myself. Or something to fill my time besides reading! Haha! Till then. :) 12:21 AM

hello hi!
Had fun with the S19 girls today. Miss Lim was very very generous and treated all 6 of us at swensens. Thanks Miss Lim! Sad case, no camera. Lol. But overall, was a good catch up session. :)Decided to do these! For fun! Not so sleepy suddenly. Wahaha.

150th!
I'm not going for the Bali trip anymore. My sisters are bringing their friends. And i kinda don't know how to mingle with them. Tried asking around but owh wells.. nevermind. So ma fan. Guess there's always next time. Lol. This week isn't so tiring after all. Got to meet ri quite a number of times cos he's having his off. He usually picks me up from work. Or rather from teaching tuition and sends me home. Thanks dear! :) Overall, this week was manageable. Just that the mondays and fridays leaves me really really drained at the end of the day. If i'm lucky, i get a massage at the end of the day though! Haha. Today was a pretty slack day. Sent my cats to the vet in the afternoon. Got them vaccinated. One of them is on antibiotics. Quite sick cos it got into a fight. Now it's wearing a cone and it's really in a pathetic state. My poor ciak. Hope it'll get well soon. Think mum and I would have to nurse ciak to the pink of health. Just hope that it doesn't get a fever.... so tomorrow is another long long day...... GAH! Before i go off, i just have to show these two pics of my parents. They're darn cute!! haha.   Till then! :) |
